Warrnambool Primary School in conjunction with with the Warrnambool City Council are running a Travelsmart program which is committed to encouraging students to choose more sustainable travel alternatives.

The Walking School Bus is one such opportunity for students to elect to walk to school rather than travel by car or bus.

On Friday 22 May will be the official first weekly Walk to School day. There are three designated routes that will be supervised by teacher/parents. Parents are encouraged to join in and be part of the experience. The Walking School Bus hopes to continue through the winter months, pending on weather conditions.
