Enrolling at Warrnambool Primary
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and we’re delighted that you’re considering joining our school community.
At Warrnambool Primary, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their personal best. From Foundation through to Year 6, our programs are designed to nurture curiosity, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
School tours can be arranged so you can see our school in action, meet staff and studnets and receivent relevent information on how to enrol.

2027 Foundation Enrolments
All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government primary school.
You can apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) in 2027 from Monday 20th April 2026.
What you need to do:
1. Stay tuned for dates and times for school tours.
2. Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) (available by Monday 20th April 2026). This pack includes guidance on the application process.
3. Submit an enrolment application by Friday 31st July 2026.
4. Take part in school transition sessions during Term 4, 2026.
5. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 28th January 2027.
